Tractors, concrete resources, drills and hammers began to change the framework of life in the backyard near my home, and within a few years, the field became a typical neighborhood in China - all of which produced the installation "Kiss the Land".
From the dawn of humanity, there has been an existential need for human beings to build a shelter that would give them security from predators and weather.
With the beginning of the agricultural revolution, we learned to produce tools that helped build permanent structures.
Over the years the technical capabilities of man have evolved and allowed us to develop diverse and efficient construction methods for different needs.
With the development of culture, human beings had a desire to live in a community and began to build buildings in different shapes and sizes and actually build cities.
Humanity has also gone through another stage of the Industrial Revolution, the revolution brought improvement in agricultural  and industrial production which led to the growth of cities.
A massive change in transportation and production methods has led to the consumer culture.
Today the population growth is a major cause for the massive need of building and infrastructure and due to this reality, natural areas are disappearing and therefore many species of flora and fauna are becoming extinct on earth,  however due to the many capabilities man has developed, we have everything to "build nature" and preserve the environment. That will affect the continuation of the human race.
The installation art that stems from the production that man developed for the building industry, operates  in a space and cooperates with nature desiring to produce a building a site that in unconventional.

“I am certain of nothing but the holiness of the heart's affections, and the truth of imagination”  John Keats.

There are faces that we are all used to see but when these characters undergo Asher Elharar’s translation and experience it becomes difficult to look at them again in the same way. With a very unusual work method and a rich background of artistic and multifaceted work, he takes out from the portraits he creates something else that gives each of us a chance to connect in a very personal way.

In recent years he has invested a great deal in creating a unique technique that involves the insertion of wool into fabric by a needle. He creates the painting by combining wool in different colors, thus creating a rich work using a unique color and texture that also adds a psychological aspect.

The inspiration for this technique, originally called dry-frying, comes from European art and even the wool itself comes from there. In Europe this technique is used to create blankets in modern processes. Asher uses the original technique and brings it to the visual world of painting.

Asher's handwork creates a completely different texture from the product of the machines. It is ruder, bolder and causes a stronger response in the viewer.

The beginning of the work is fascinating and very similar to painting with a brush. In stages in which the color and texture are thickened, the work on the piece becomes meditation.

The subject of portraits in the work of Asher Center recently attracted great interest. He refers to choosing to deal with portraits of cultural symbols, faces that each of us knows. The idea of creating portraits from the world of film and music connects to our need as human beings in a culture that enriches us. I build on the emotional charges that people experience when they watch a movie or listen to music directly related to the creator, I process and empower that experience by bring to the viewer this figure as it was reflected in my experience. I leverage the psychological loads that the observer brings with him and sharpen the experience.

The use of the wool technique further intensifies the exposure due to the intense and emotional colors it evokes. Culture is very esoteric and emotional. When cultural heroes connect to a colorful experience in the interpretation of Asher, it receives a significant effect that leaves a mark.

asher elharar's sculptural installation was crated as a warning call to humans to examine their interventions in nature. compelled by a sense of urgency, elharar responds to the ecological crises affecting our planet. the surreal wooden sculptures in this group conceptually complement each other: a life - size panda bear converses with a fish tell; gorillas testicles set within a clock act as reminders of living on borrowed time; and fish hunting humans develop disturbing relationships from absurd juxtapositions.
